ADAPT Administrator




An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of an Administrator to assist and support the ADAPT team ensuring all administration support is met.


The role is full-time (37 hours per week) and is temporary (maternity cover) until October 2026. The role base location will be dependent on the successful applicant and business demand, to be confirmed at appointment.


The ADAPT Administrator role will include the following duties:

Liaising with internal and external partners and agencies. Take minutes, prepare agreed actions for circulation, populate agendas etc. Develop and maintain necessary documentation, including referral forms, research forms, etc. Review and manage relevant information on police databases. To work as part of a team to support the wider ADAPT team function.

You will be able to engage with people at all levels and demonstrate flexibility, motivation and commitment, a proven ability to set high standards and a hands-on working style encouraging our real one team ethos to achieve goals and targets.

MINIMUM CRITERIA FOR THE ROLE:




The role requires applicants who can demonstrate (with evidence) skills in the following areas:

NVQ Level 3 in Administration or equivalent qualification and/or equivalent amount of proven relevant experience. The use of IT to an intermediate level, including inputting/typing skills of at least 35 wpm, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Proven communication skills, both written and oral together with an ability to work well in a team environment and when liaising with external agencies. Applicants should be self-motivated and be able to prioritise and complete tasks to meet specific deadlines. Proven ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Proven experience of handling information of a confidential, sensitive and personal nature. Ability to confidently and effectively work in partnership with other statutory and voluntary agencies. Ability to enter and gather information from a range of sources using an appropriate computer system and retrieve and present information in a suitable format.
