Summary

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Adaptations team at McElmeel Mobility Services, located just outside the City of Armagh. This role is vital in supporting our mission to provide high-quality adapted vehicles that improve the lives of our customers. Join us in making a difference!

Responsibilities

Work independently as well as collaborating with team members to ensure seamless vehicle adaptations, Responsible for fitting of vehicle adaptations to include hand controls, left foot accelerators, steering aids to a high standard, Completing relevant spanner checks and test drives are completed before the vehicle leaves the workshop, Work with wiring and electrics for converted or adapted vehicles following the supplier build manual where applicable, Conduct repairs of adaptations aiming for maximum reliability, Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge, Engage with customers who are onsite for fitting/repairs, ensuring they have full knowledge of their fitted adaptation, Uphold safety and quality standards in all operations, Contribute positively to team dynamics and company culture.

Qualifications

3 years demonstrable experience in a similar role, Basic welding knowledge, Full driving licence, Mechanical fitting/auto-electrical experience advantageous but not essential Strong commitment to customer service excellence Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Excellent communication skills Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic workplace Previous experience in automotive or related fields is a plus but not mandatory A proactive approach to problem-solving
