We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious

Vehicle Test Driver

with hands-on experience in automotive testing, particularly in

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of vehicle dynamics, test protocols, and data acquisition tools, and will contribute to the development, validation, and verification of ADAS technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Automated Emergency Braking.
Responsibilities:
Conduct on-road and closed-course vehicle testing for ADAS feature development, validation, and verification. Execute structured test cases in various driving environments (urban, highway, proving ground, etc.). Provide real-time subjective assessments and objective feedback on ADAS functionality and system performance. Operate test equipment and data acquisition systems including GPS, radar, LiDAR, and CAN loggers. Identify and document anomalies and work collaboratively with engineering teams to resolve issues. Ensure vehicle readiness, including software updates, calibration, sensor alignment, and system diagnostics. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and testing standards. Drive both manually and using semi-autonomous systems under varied and often challenging conditions. Support scenario creation, test route development, and improvement of test procedures.

Essential skills:

Professional driving/test driving experience

in an engineering or proving ground environment. Valid driver's license with a

clean driving record

. Deep understanding of ADAS functionalities and safety-critical system behavior. Experience with

CAN tools (e.g., Vector CANalyzer/CANoe, INCA, etc.)

and data logging systems. Familiarity with ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), ISO 21448 (SOTIF), or similar standards is a plus. Experience with test case documentation and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Polarion). Willingness to travel and work in various testing environments and weather conditions.

Desired skills:
Advanced driving certification (e.g., Certified High-Performance Driving, EVOC, or OEM-specific training). Experience with simulation tools and hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) or software-in-the-loop (SiL) test environments. Automotive engineering or technical background (Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering). Familiarity with regulations (UNECE, NHTSA) and NCAP test procedures. Ability to operate multiple vehicle platforms including EVs, ICEs, and hybrids.

Experience:
Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Able to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal. Adaptability and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
