Addictions Therapist/Psychotherapist - Full Time

Location: Edinburgh, Hospital Setting

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Salary: Up to 30,000 per annum



We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated

Addictions Therapist

to join our team within a hospital-based service in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner who is passionate about supporting individuals on their recovery journey in an acute healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients affected by substance misuse and related issues within a hospital setting. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment and recovery plans. Work collaboratively with medical staff, nursing teams, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, patient-centred care. Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with hospital policies and professional standards. Participate in reflective practice, clinical supervision, and ongoing professional development.
About You
Registered member of a recognised professional body (AP, COSCA, BACP, BABCP). Actively working towards full accreditation. Experience of providing therapy to individuals affected by addiction, ideally in a healthcare or hospital environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Resilient, empathetic, and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
What We Offer
