What you'll be doing
Triaging self-referred and PMI funded patients contacting the CSC for suitability and directing referrals to the most appropriate pathway in line with the stepped care model and service contracts.
Signposting unsuitable patients to alternative support or advisory services as appropriate.
Liaising and managing contact from patients via telephone and referral managing platform
Adhering to risk protocols and calling patients if required to assess current risk
Keeping coherent records of all clinical activity in line with Priory's protocols and using these records and clinical outcome data in clinical decision-making
Working closely with referral coordinators to ensure that appropriate referral arrangements are in place where needed to maintain a stepped care approach
Preparing & updating clinical information for all patients
What you'll bring to the role
Ability to work a varied shift pattern including weekends (E)
Professional accredited postgraduate qualification in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions - Desirable
An up-to-date BPS or BABCP Membership - Desirable
Post-qualification experience of working as a PWP - Desirable
An understanding of addiction issues, or a willingness and motivation to learn more about this presentation and treatment options.
BABCP PWP Registration
An understanding of a triage system in primary & secondary care
