About Us

Coventry College is a dynamic Further Education provider at the heart of the city, offering high-quality vocational, technical, and professional education to learners of all ages, from Entry Level to Higher Education. Since forming in 2017, we've been committed to helping individuals transform their lives and supporting businesses to grow--strengthening the communities we serve. Our ambition is to help young people and adults to aspire to change their lives and those of their families. Through strong partnerships and a responsive, inclusive curriculum, we strive to deliver excellence in teaching and learning that evolves with industry needs and puts learners and employers in the best position for success. Recent investments in facilities, including electric vehicle tech, construction, and digital skills, ensure we stay at the cutting edge of industry needs.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and professional individual to join our team in a key business support role. You will play an important part in helping the College run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall learner and staff experience.

Whether supporting students, staff, systems, or services, you'll bring a positive approach and a strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking college where your skills and contribution are truly valued.

We are looking to increase our existing team of ALS Co-Ordinator's, based within our Learner Support Services department, from where specialist support is provided for a range of individual learner needs to include mental health, dyslexia, dyspraxia and financial support and guidance.

Are you an organised, pro-active, enthusiastic and personable individual? The successful candidate will liaise with external agencies, ie schools, CAMHS, Local Authority, making the necessary arrangements to ensure learners with SEND are supported in their transition from school to College and throughout their time at College. You will identify individual support needs, draw up support plans, attend external EHCP review meetings, lead EHCP College reviews in conjunction with external agencies, parents/guardians and teaching staff and ensure documentation is kept updated.

You will maintain a caseload of students with EHCPs and other additional support needs and ensure relevant information is disseminated as appropriate. You will need to produce reports and statistical information as required by the Head of Learner Services.

Hold a minimum of Level 2 qualification in Maths and English
