Job role

In this role you will work with a small staff team to assist with delivering individual education programmes and Social support programmes to students with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEN/D) typically aged 18-25.

About you

You will have experience working with people with SEN/D. You will be comfortable working in a person-centred way and be aspirational for the young people you work with. You will work as part of a team and promote best practice.

Context

Bedazzle specialises in working with small numbers of students with SEND. We develop bespoke educational and social care packages which are delivered by teams of experienced SEN/D tutors and support staff. We work closely with families to develop appropriate programmes where the young person is central to all decision making. We prioritise staff well-being and workloads are carefully managed in order to ensure staff have excellent work-life balance.

Bedazzle takes safeguarding very seriously. It's everyone's responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of our students. All staff must undergo training and comply with our safeguarding policy. You will undergo a full induction as part of this role.

If you are successful, you will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
