Medication Review and Prescribing:
Conduct medication review appointments and manage prescriptions for patients following the achievement of required competencies. Full training in ADHD management will be provided by the Team allowing you to progress to the status of an experienced ADHD Nurses Practitioner
Shared Care Agreements:
Prepare and submit shared care agreements to General Practitioners to ensure seamless and collaborative patient care.
Clinical and Patient Enquiries:
Address daily clinical and staff enquiries as well as new patient enquiries submitted through the website.
Proofreading and Reporting:
Review and proofread medical reports for accuracy, ensuring high-quality documentation.
Follow-Up Reviews:
Identify and review patients who do not respond to follow-up, maintaining patient engagement and adherence to treatment plans.
Clinical Administrative Filing:
Organize and maintain clinical administrative files to keep patient records accurate and accessible.
Travel and Support Letters:
Provide travel letters and support letters for Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or other necessary documentation.
IT System Competency:
Work efficiently within our IT systems to streamline administrative processes. Full training will be provided.

The starting salary is 22 / Hr with a Proposed increase salary following a successful 6-month performance review to 24 / Hr
Primarily focused on clinical administrative responsibilities and will work directly with the Clinical Lead as part of the Clinical Governance team
In particular, this position requires a qualified and experienced Registered General Nurse (Adult Nursing) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to ensure that Clinical Governance standards are delivered to maintain a therapeutic service to adults, children and young people with ADHD (and their families), who may have emotional, behavioural and social difficulties as well as associated neurodevelopmental disorder(s).
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in direct patient care after demonstrating the required competencies. This role requires the candidate to be a prescriber, and full training will be provided to ensure familiarisation and competency in ADHD care.
Therefore, this position is also suitable for a Registered General Nurse (RGN) who is motivated to train within an experienced and committed team dedicated to improving ADHD care.
The role is expected to evolve as the service continues to grow

Person Specification Qualifications
First-level Nursing qualification, Registered General Nurse (RGN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
Applicants must have current UK NMC professional registration.
Applicants must be a qualified Independent Nurse Prescriber

Information technology skills sufficient to undertake the post

Clinical supervision and case management are provided within the team,
