About this Role

Gateway Central Services is looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Minibus Driver to play a key role in helping our students engage in activities - from exciting school trips to competitive sporting fixtures!

This is more than just a driving job - it is a chance to support young people as they explore, learn, and grow outside the classroom. You will be responsible for picking up a minibus from a nearby school, transporting students safely to their destination, and returning the vehicle at the end of the trip.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, friendly, and happy to go the extra mile - literally! Occasionally, you may stay with the group during the day and join in on the fun as they take part in school trips.

What to Expect:

Around 15 trips per year - with timings like 8:00am minibus pick-up, 9:15am departure, and venue pick up at 2:00pm to drop off at school and return the minibus to the original school.

Sporting fixtures may run from 11:00am - 4:00pm, depending on the schedule.

Additional driving hours may be available, including school transport for The Romsey School and support for the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme during school holidays.

The successful candidate will:

Hold a valid UK driving licence

Hold a MIDAS certificate (although training is provided if you do not already have this)

Hold a First aid certificate (although training can be provided if you do not already have this)
