About Us


Still technically a 'small' Company but rapidly growing, we are a professional, hardworking and dedicated commercial cleaning company based in London. As a business, we offer both contract cleaning and one-off cleans (post construction, end of tenancy, deep cleans etc) and all associated services all across the UK.

I am the Operations Director of KSL and have overall responsibility for both the delivery of our services throughout the UK and our HR and Recruitment function. I now need to strenthen my team on the support side of both areas.

Please note

- This is a hybrid role - currently this role is remote based with occasional office days every 1-2 weeks, mainly in Ilford/East London. This may change depending on growth and needs of the business.

This role is to primarily assist me and this makes it an interesting and varied mix of recruitment and operational administration.

The basic areas are broken down as follows currently however please note that this is not an exhaustive list and is subject to change depending on workload, skillset etc.

Recruitment


In this industry, turnover is high and jobs need to be filled quickly as well as keeping track of our existing staff holidays to cover and outsourced temporary or ongoing cover roles from our many clients. This recruitment is fast paced and really needs someone who is great on the 'phone, can advertise, screen applications, shortlist and interview at a pace and keep track of all the roles and progress to ensure deadlines/start dates are met whilst not comprimising on accuracy and quality service.

HR Admin


Following recruitment comes onboarding new staff, gathering staff information, referencing, day to day staff queries, managing systems, holiday and sickness records and much more. I am not looking for a CIPD qualified person who wants to be an HR Officer/Manager. Some HR Admin experience is needed however it doesn't need to be in depth.



Operations


Another very fast-paced area of our business; we need to move staff, equipment, hire stuff, manage supplies and a whole lot more every week all around the UK to ensure we are delivering our services effectively. We also need to source subcontractors for jobs and manage their onboarding I have someone supporting me managing the daily one-off/builders cleans and they will also need your help.

Ad hoc


Includes any general admin to support the Operations Department or MD as required, projects, answering the switchboard, implementing and streamlining processes, inovation.

Person specification



- An outgoing and friendly personality with great communication skills; not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to clients, suppliers, staff or ask questions
- Very good standard of English, both verbal and written
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced role, good under pressure - things and priorities can change all day
- Good systems skills especially MS Office; good with picking up new systems
- Must be able to multi-task and work independently
- Must have a positive attitude and great work ethic!

Hours

- Monday to Friday, 7.5/8 hours per day, either an 8am or 9am start TBC
Extra hours may be required from time to time to get the job done

Pay

- 13.00 p/hr, PAYE paid monthly on the first Friday of every month, accrued holiday
