We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Duties
Provide clerical and administrative support to the workshop department.
Manage and organise office files, ensuring all documents are accurately maintained and easily accessible.
Perform data entry tasks with precision, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correctly recorded.
Handle incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
Support financial record-keeping using SAGE account software, including invoicing inputting and job sheet creation.
Maintain an organised office environment, including ordering supplies and managing inventory.
Experience
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position in a motor trade environment is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficiency in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
Competence in using computer software, particularly Microsoft office and SAGE.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
