Job Summary


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admin Officer to work within the admin team ensuring smooth secretarial and administrative workflows and exceptional customer support. The ideal candidate will have experience of medical secretarial work, possesses excellent communication abilities, and is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Responsibilities



To provide an efficient audio typing service for health professionals. This includes share of processing clinical referral letters, typing reports, minutes, memos etc in an accurate and timely manner Dealing with patient queries related to referrals Checking 2 week referrals To assist the assistant practice manager and practice manager with all clerical and administrative duties Run regular searches and reports around QOF and enhanced service indicators to assist in completion of CQRS and for audit purposes. Assist GPs in monitoring QOF areas as requested. To manage Envisage TV to ensure correct seasonal and updated information is being played on the system. To keep the utilities spreadsheet updated To order stationery, kitchen and printer supplies as needed To maintain the computer clinical system in an accurate and secure manner Process and manage private medical requests for information ensuring timely payment To become one of the practice experts in all aspects of the clinical system and to be able to train other users, both clinical and non-clinical, in the best use of the system To be aware of the Data Protection Act and of its importance and relevance to General Practice To assist in general office duties and reception work as required due to absence or annual leave

Experience



Experience in using clinical system EMIS and Docman in General Practice Experience in using the eRS system Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and secretarial skills Experience handling multi-line phone systems and managing front desk operations effectively Prior experience in working in primary care or medical environment Prior experience in customer service or customer support roles that require excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 13 per week
