Pennine Instrument Services are looking for a Admin & Shipping Co-ordinator to join their team at their Laboratory in Sheffield.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join Pennine Instrument Services, a subsidiary recently acquired by Micro Precision, the Global leader for calibration, repair and test equipment solutions.

The Admin & Shipping Co-ordinator is responsible for supporting the day to day running of the business by assisting the team with shipping, receiving and inspection tasks alongside administrative tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties include



Receiving equipment and instrumentation. Conducting initial inspection of goods received. Cleaning and maintenance of shipping area and equipment. Appropriately package equipment for transit. Preparing goods for shipping and arranging shipments. Co-ordinating pickups and deliveries. Data entry for equipment and progressing works orders with members of the team. Follow up directly with customer requests via phone and email. General Administrative tasks.

Requirements



Valid Driver's License preferable, but not essential. Previous experience in shipping/receiving environment. High level customer service skills and Customer orientated attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Demonstrates high level of attention to detail. Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel. Use of carrier shipping software preferable.

Working hours



Monday - Thursday: 7.30am - 3.45pm Friday: 7.30am - 3.15pm
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00 per year
