An exciting opportunity has arisen and we are looking for a personable, positive, enthusiastic candidate.

The position is based at Redwither Tower, Wrexham Industrial Estate.

It is a full time post until 31st March 2026 but flexible hours and jobs shares would be considered.

The Shared Prosperity Fund is a 3.5 billion programme from the UK Government launched in April 2022. Wrexham Council's Business & Investment Team has been successful in securing 350,000 to support business growth in the County Borough during 2025/26.

The role of the Administration and Monitoring Officer is to help co-ordinate the delivery of the grant scheme including the application process, applicant enquiries and processing grant claims and progress reports.

Essential requirements for the post include experience of performance management, monitoring processes, excellent administrative, communication, written and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work using your own initiative.
