Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts/Administration Assistant to join our finance department based in Bristol. Initially the role will be based in Staple hill however soon will be relocated to a new office close around Aztec West. The ideal candidate will support the office in managing the day-to-day accounting and administration functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in business operations.

Banyan Care Homes operates several Care Homes and a domiciliary care business.

These businesses work together to offer comprehensive 24-hour care for the elderly and work as a team to ensure we offer the best care we possibly can.

Key Responsibilities:



Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and timely. Maintain and update financial records and ledgers. Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports. Handle accounts payable and receivable tasks. Provide administrative support to the office as needed. Travel to Care Homes occasionally.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



Proven experience as an Accounts/Admin Assistant or in a similar role. Proficiency in accounting software Xero Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise. Time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:



AAT qualification or working towards.

GCSE C or above in both maths and English

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 25,000.00-28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
