We are now seeking to appoint an

Administration Manager

to be based at our Head office in Nottingham, at the prestigious NG2 Business Park.


Job Purpose:




We are seeking an organised, proactive and process driven

Administration Manager

to lead and develop our administration team responsible for Sales, Project, Contracts administration. This role ensures the efficient handling of administrative tasks and processes that support Sales, Project and Contract delivery along with overseeing a Small Works processing and quoting team.


Experience in the fire and security industry is advantageous but not essential. We welcome applications from experienced Administration Managers as well as ambitious Administrators ready to take the next step in their career.


Key Responsibilities




Lead, mentor, and develop a team of administrators Allocate workloads, monitor performance, and conduct regular team reviews and one-to-ones Foster a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture Ensure processes for sales enquiry to order, project setup, contract renewal and set up along with small works quoting are followed. Oversee the accurate and timely administration of client contracts and project documentation Implement and maintain efficient admin processes and procedures Review and improve administrative workflows to ensure consistent quality and productivity Drive the use of IT systems and automation where appropriate to reduce manual effort and errors Act as the key point of contact for internal departments regarding administrative support Be part of the senior leadership team and provide accurate reporting and updates to senior management Ensure all documentation is compliant with internal standards, industry regulations, and client requirements

About You




Proven experience in administration management, ideally within the fire and security industry or similar industry Strong team leadership and people management experience Exceptional organisational and time-management skills Ability to design, implement, and improve administrative processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM database systems

Desirable:




Knowledge of fire and security industry regulations and terminology Experience working with project-based businesses or contract-driven environments Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance documentation
