We are the UK's leading supplier of vehicle hard top canopies, tonneau covers and accessories, are currently looking to recruit an Administration and Account Manager to join their family-run business in Swindon.

Job Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Administration Manager to oversee and enhance our administrative operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills in both person and telephone, along with proficiency in IT and office software. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of our office environment while providing exceptional customer service.

You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our day-to-day financial processes. The role combines core finance admin duties with broader responsibilities, giving you a real opportunity to grow within the position and develop your career. While we understand you may not have experience in every area listed, we are happy to provide training to the right candidate who has a solid foundation in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

General Finance Administration



Extensive knowledge and comprehension of Sage 50 accounting software Maintain accurate supplier and client account records Ensure all purchase orders are up-to-date and correct Monitor and maintain records of bad debts and retentions Complete bank reconciliations and allocate transactions correctly Prepare monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports Processing new customer accounts and background credit checks

Administration & Ad Hoc Duties



Build a good working relationship with our supplier Daily managing, processing and recording job cards as requested by the sales team Proactively manage sourcing, contracting and compliance for all direct goods and service provisions, embedding a best in class procurement governance framework Organising and processing import and export of goods Organising dispatch of domestic goods Assist in processing monthly reports Experience in managing and keeping up to date with accreditation such as ISO-9001, VCA, etc.
What We're Looking For:

At least

5 years of experience

in a finance or accounts-based role Strong working knowledge of

Sage50 accounting software

Good Excel skills and general IT proficiency High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Confident communicator who can work independently and within a team
