is an exciting three-year initiative, funded by Community Fund that will transform the lives of 360 young adults aged 16 to 30 from disadvantaged communities in and around Leicester's Greater Highfields area. The project will deliver personalised support to help young people overcome barriers to education, employment, and personal development. The project will benefit young adults through:
- Routes back into education and pathways to paid work
- Business start-up advice, volunteering, and placements
- Improved confidence, communication, and leadership skills/

is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented
Administration Officer
to support our new project supporting young adults into education, employment and enterprise. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping to manage events, communications and data . This position requires proficiency in data entry, clerical duties, and excellent communication skills. The Administrator will support the team by maintaining efficient office processes and providing exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Duties
Manage daily office operations and ensure a welcoming environment for visitors.
Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Organise meetings, including scheduling appointments and coordinating logistics.
Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
Support the team with clerical tasks such as typing correspondence and managing office supplies.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve administrative processes and enhance productivity.
Experience
Proven experience in an administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Access
Ability to assist with the setting up of meeting/training rooms and reception areas
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain manual and computerised records
Experience of working with the public

RSA II or equivalent
