Job Overview



This role is funded by the

Access to Work

scheme, a UK government programme designed to support individuals with disabilities or health conditions in the workplace. This position provides crucial administrative and business support to Michael, a dedicated physiotherapist and the owner of Otto Physiotherapy, who has dyslexia.

The purpose of this position is to work closely with Michael on a one-to-one basis to help streamline and manage business operations. You will be a proactive and organised partner, helping to set up and maintain efficient administrative processes and manage a variety of tasks using different computer platforms. Due to the supportive nature of this role, which is to help mitigate the challenges of dyslexia in a business environment, the ideal candidate will be patient, a clear communicator, and highly organised.

This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant (PA) or someone wishing to move into a business-PA role, where you can develop your skills and make a significant impact on a growing healthcare practice.

Duties



Providing structured

one-to-one support

to help manage tasks, prioritise workload, and ensure business efficiency. Using the patient management system

Cliniko

for booking appointments, sending reminders, and managing patient records. Assisting with basic bookkeeping tasks using

Zero Accounting

software. Supporting marketing efforts, which may include managing

Google Ads

, updating the practice website (https://www.ottophysiotherapy.co.uk/), and managing social media content. Helping to manage a variety of other business tasks independently and through collaborative support sessions.

Requirements



The successful candidate will be:

Exceptionally Organised:

You have a natural ability to create order, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain systems.

Self-Motivated:

You are proactive, can work independently, and take initiative to see what needs to be done.

Tech Confident:

You have strong IT skills and are a quick learner when it comes to new software (specific training on Cliniko/Zero will be provided, but prior experience is a bonus).

A Strong Communicator:

You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are patient, clear, and supportive.

Discreet & Professional:

You will be handling sensitive client information, so confidentiality is paramount.
Previous experience as a

Personal Assistant (PA), Administrative Assistant, or in a Business Support

role would be very beneficial. An interest in healthcare, wellbeing, or small business growth is also a plus.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Freelance

Pay: 12.92-15.01 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
