Supervise the administration team at Sizewell C, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in line with company policies. Oversee site administration, weighbridge operations, and record-keeping. Join a Landmark Project, Sizewell C Nuclear Power Station

Biffa's Specialist Services Industrial Division has secured the waste management contract for the build of Sizewell C, a major nuclear power station development in Suffolk.


With a projected 9 to 12-year construction period, this high-profile project mirrors our successful work at Hinkley Point C. Operations will eventually move to a purpose-built Waste Consolidation Centre, but initially, our team will manage the contract directly from the client's site, overseeing collections, subcontractors, reporting, invoicing, and waste consultancy.

Your core responsibilities.

Oversee day-to-day administration tasks as directed by the Commercial Manager. Lead and manage the performance of the administration team. Manage weighbridge operations and produce required reports for clients, contractors, and the company. Check and process supplier invoices accurately, maintaining clear records. Support the operations team by booking lift requirements when needed. Maintain and update customer data on relevant systems, ensuring effective communication across the depot. Handle inbound enquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring customer issues are resolved to satisfaction. Manage the NNB document control system "Teamcentre" and keep relevant managers informed of changes or updates.

Requirements

Our essential requirements.

Proven experience in a senior administrative role, ideally within logistics or waste management. Strong people management and health & safety leadership skills. Track record of meeting service delivery KPIs and producing MI reports with trend analysis. Knowledge of waste industry laws, environmental and health & safety legislation. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Teams, and extracting data from BI reports. Full driving licence IOSH General Certificate (or willingness to achieve).
