, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department with day-to-day tasks, ensuring the smooth running of financial operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a desire to grow within a dynamic business environment.

Assistant
will be responsible for the main administration tasks managing financial transactions, data entry, and assisting with various accounting and office-based tasks. The ideal candidate should have experience with software such as QuickBooks and Bright HR.
Prior experience in dealing with paperwork and administration regarding the construction industry, such as construction drawings, building control, site visits, etc, is advantageous but not essential.
General duties
Update internal databases and maintain documentation
Order supplies for office and the workshop
Help the production coordinator to arrange logistics for all projects
Digitalise documents and reports accurately
Establish and manage positive relationships with suppliers and clients
Prepare regular financial and administrative reports
Maintain the accounting system and run reports
Credit Control?- Monitor outstanding client balances and follow up on overdue payments, issues or delays
Manage the day-to-day accounting operations for the company and handle all financial queries
Business credit card and expenses management and reconciliations
Prepare payment run each week
Help with HR - new staff onboarding and administering access to our internal portals
Ad hoc reports as required by the Head of Finance/ General Manager
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Analytical skills, finance and accounting proficiency - part or full qualified AAT/ACCA highly desirable but not essential
2-3 years' experience in an administrative & finance role
Excellent attention to detail
Proven experience in a similar role
Strong IT skills - working knowledge of Quick Books, Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite and its features
A proactive attitude with the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively
Ability to work under own initiatives and to deadlines
Desire to continually improve processes and increase efficiency
Prior experience in dealing with paperwork and administration regarding the construction industry, such as construction drawings, building control, site visits, etc, is advantageous
