We are seeking a highly organised and motivated, part time, Minute Taker/Administrative Support Officer to join the Adult Safeguarding Team.



Grade 5 - 25,584 for 18.5 hours per week for 52.14 weeks per annum equating to 12,774 pro rata.


About the Role





The team is responsible for delivering the local authority's statutory duties under the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 and the Wales Safeguarding Procedures 2019.



You will play a key role in supporting the Persons in a Position of Trust (PIPOT) process, also known as the LADO function for adults, by predominantly;
Coordinating and scheduling professional concerns meetings Taking accurate and confidential minutes Distributing meeting documentation in a timely and secure manner

The role will also provide general administrative support to the team.



We're looking for someone who is:
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Experienced in minute-taking, ideally in sensitive or multi-agency settings Able to handle confidential information with discretion A strong communicator with good IT and administrative skills Committed to the principles of safeguarding and adult protection




Experience in a safeguarding or social care environment is desirable but not essential. "
