The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) is a leading institution dedicated to fostering creativity and innovation in the arts, design, and media. We are seeking a proactive and organized Administrative Assistant (Commercial Engagement) to join our dynamic team and support our mission to drive impactful partnerships and enterprise initiatives within the creative and cultural industries.
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to support our Commercial Engagement team in delivering high-quality administrative and operational support. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects, collaborate with industry stakeholders, and play a key part in driving UCA's enterprise activities. Contract is for 3 months.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for revenue generation and partnership development.
Maintain accurate records of business development activities, partnerships, and financial tracking.
Assist in organizing meetings, events, and networking activities with creative and cultural industries stakeholders.
Provide logistical support for the Creative and Cultural Industries Leaders Networkand other collaborative projects.
Support the maintenance and updates of digital learning platforms and course materials.
Prepare presentations, briefings, and documentation for senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Monitor and report on key performance metrics for enterprise activities.
Ensure compliance with university policies, including health and safety, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Assist in the coordination and administration of short courses, summer schools, and English language provision, ensuring efficient processes and high-quality delivery.
Support the development of marketing materials, proposals, and reports for enterprise initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with digital platforms.
A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving and supporting team objectives.
Interest in the creative and cultural industries and a passion for supporting enterprise initiatives.
Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis is desirable.
