We are now looking for an Administrative Assistant to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As an Administrative Assistant, you will take on a supporting role, reporting to the PA to the Directors and Office Manager. Specifically, you will assist with administrative duties, events planning and internal communications.

Delivering excellent support, you will maintain our Office Management filing system and noticeboard, assist with staff admin such as issuing passes, collating and recording head office Social Value data and support maintenance activities.

You will also update our staff intranet, distribute staff newsletters, draft articles for the company website and help organise staff events.

Additionally, you will:

  • Assist with event planning, as well as brand awareness and marketing
  • Ensure the office remains fully stocked with supplies
  • Produce minutes for office staff meetings as required

About You

To be considered as an Administrative Assistant, you will need:

  • Previous administration experience
  • The ability to manage your time and workload effectively
  • The ability to develop strong internal and external relationships and confidence to deal with all levels of staff
  • Excellent document management and record-keeping skills
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Good IT competency in Microsoft Office suite and the willingness to learn new software skills including Adobe InDesign, Canva, Social Value reporting tools and our internal communications platform
  • A good understanding of event planning
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, specifically Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Previous experience of taking and writing minutes (desirable)

Ideally, you will have experience working as an administrator in the construction industry.
