The Cwm Taf Morgannwg Safeguarding Board (CTMSB) is a statutory partnership made up of the agencies that are responsible for safeguarding children and adults at risk in the Cwm Taf Morgannwg area. The Board ensures that agencies in the region have effective arrangements in place to ensure that people of all ages, living in the region, are protected from abuse, neglect or other kinds of harm. This also involves preventing abuse, neglect or other kinds of harm from happening.

1 x 37 hour Administrative Assistant
Based in Maritime Industrial Estate, Pontypridd
You will join a small, but busy Team based sometimes at home and sometimes within an office base in an interesting and fast-paced service area.
The purpose of this post is to provide business administration support to all meetings of the Safeguarding Board, including Operational Committees, sub groups and task and finish groups. This will involve arranging and co-ordinating meetings, booking venues, circulating papers, maintaining attendance lists and minute-taking.
The successful candidate will need to have an awareness of Adult & Children's safeguarding and an understanding of confidentiality and working with sensitive information. Experience of communicating effectively with a wide range of partners, other colleagues and professionals is essential.
