The Service
Portman Street is a 24/7 emergency supported accommodation based in Glasgow Southside for 30 homeless men. We are a registered housing support service. Individuals have a wide variety of support needs including, but not limited to, mental health issues, substance misuse and learning disabilities.
The Role
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing an efficient administrative service. This includes: Completion of excel spreadsheets on a weekly/monthly basis for Glasgow City Council
Completing weekly service charge/banking to Glasgow City Council
Taking minutes of meetings
Ordering stationery/cleaning products and stock for flats to ensure adequate levels are maintained
Produce staff induction packs
Maintaining office petty cash system
Archiving and maintaining records on digital management system
You Will
Be highly motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills
Be flexible and adaptable and able to deal with a fast paced environment
Have the ability to manage own workload
Have the ability to use initiative
