The College requires a skilled HR and PA administrator with extensive HE experience in providing high-quality IT and PA support and leadership. The College is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable individual to join our admin team in the newly created role of PA administrator. In this role, you will provide effective administrative support to College Principal, Board of Directors, Board of Governors, and all employees and contractors ensuring the student experience remains at the heart of everything we do.

The PA role will be responsible for providing efficient and effective comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Principal at the highest level, in independent , Multitasking and self-managed capacity.

The post-holder will manage communications with and for the Principal, and will be the primary point of contact between the Principal, the College community and the outside world. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are, therefore, central to the role. The manner in which the post-holder undertakes the duties of the role is important. The post-holder requires confidence in managing a demanding workload within tight deadlines. The post-holder will have highly developed leadership skills in assessing and prioritising the urgency of requests for information from, or access to, the Principal

Preference will be given to local candidates with extensive working experience in UK College/University HR environments. This is a mandatory requirement for all potential candidates. Hence, we strongly advise you that unless you have had past working experience at other educational institutions you should not apply for this position.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

Providing an effective and high-quality HR and PA support service for the College, offering expert advice and guidance to College leaders, managers, and all employees and contractors. Assisting the Principal and finance team in providing professional coaching and guidance to enable them to deliver employee relations, workforce management, and employee engagement activities across their respective areas. Overseeing the management of all Employee Relations (ER) cases across the college, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. .Provide professional, confidential, and consistent advice and guidance on all aspects of HR to employees and contractors at all levels within the college. Providing professional, confidential, and consistent advice to online publications Good kowlege of MS 360 applications and filings

Qualifications Required



Good HR professional qualification at level 5 or equivalent qualification An excellent knowledge and understanding of generalist HR and legal compliance Relevant experience in PR Management or supervisory role within HE environments Experience in handling employee relations issues and cases within HE environments Experience in maintaining employee and contractor records within HE environments Good knowledge in the use of MSO spreadsheet and HR database within educational environments Good knowledge of PAYE , pension & NI contribution and personal taxation to meet compliance Good knowledge of HMRC employment requirements and compliance Good knowledge of Bookkeeping and bank reconciliation Good knowledge of using Sage line 50 and TAS accounts software Extensive knowledge in GDPR compliance Degree in computer Science is mamdatory

Terms & Conditions



Contract Type : 12 months with possible renewal

5 days per week [Monday-Saturdays with one weekday off in lieu] , 37.5 hours per week (1.0 FTE) / 52 weeks per year OR Part-Tme 3 days per week [24 hours]. Preference will be given to local camdidates.

28 days per annum, pro-rata for part-time role Workplace Pension Free on-site parking during weekdays and weekends (subject to availability)
