Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant
to join our small but dedicated team.
Summary
This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth running of daily office operations and exceptional service to our customers. You'll be involved in everything from answering phone calls and emails to processing online orders and assisting with stock control.
Responsibilities
Answering telephone calls and handling email communications professionally
Processing sales orders via our online shop and internal order channels
Creating and managing invoices using
SAGE Accounting Software
Managing paperwork and printing documents as needed
Liaising with internal departments including production and dispatch
Maintaining accurate customer and order records
Investigating and resolving customer complaints efficiently
Checking product availability and responding to enquiries
Assisting customers with account registration (trade and online)
Escalating more complex enquiries to the appropriate teams
Passing on customer feedback to the sales and product teams
Supporting stock control processes
Ordering supplies and liaising with suppliers when needed
Performing general office duties and assisting management with ad hoc tasks
Candidate Requirements
English fluency
(both spoken and written)
Previous experience
in an administrative and/or customer service role
Proficiency in
Microsoft Word
and
Excel
Familiarity with
SAGE Accounting
is desirable (training can be provided)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
Experience using Shopify to process orders, manage subscriptions, and handle customer queries is highly desirable.
