London College of Professional Studies (LCPS) is a well-established educational institution dedicated to providing high-quality education and exceptional student support. We are currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused Administrative Assistant to join our Support Team on a part-time basis.
Job Role:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for students, handling their inquiries and resolving any issues efficiently. Your role will involve providing excellent customer service, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team to ensure a smooth and effective resolution of student concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to student inquiries promptly through various communication channels (phone, email, in person).
Provide clear, accurate, and friendly support to students, resolving their issues effectively.
Maintain and update records of student interactions, feedback, and actions taken.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure student issues are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
Manage and track student support requests, ensuring they are resolved within set timeframes.
Assist with administrative duties such as scheduling, document management, and preparing student communications.
Key Requirements:
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Proven customer service experience, preferably in an educational or similar setting.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
A proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
High attention to detail and accuracy when managing student information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
Desirable:
Experience in an administrative or support role within an educational environment.
Familiarity with student support systems or related administrative software.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position, offering 25 hours per week. The working hours will be 10 AM TO 3 PM Monday to Friday , with specific details to be discussed during the interview.
