The role is two-fold, running the accounts system (Sage) and the fabric of the office. The ability to work largely unsupervised whilst maintaining good relations with the client services team is essential.

Primary responsibilities are: Accounts (nominal ledger) maintenance ; sales / purchase invoice processing; processing payments; banking; sales ledger management; office facilities (insurances, utilities etc.) management.

Accounting qualifications are not essential but may assist any application. Familiarity with Sage a requirement. Experience of a similar role would be a distinct advantage. The timing of the appointment is to facilitate a period working with the retiring incumbent to aid familiarisation.

The role has never required full time commitment and would suit someone who wanted to work either short days or 3 /4 days a week.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,000.00-37,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 37.5 per week
