Domestic Abuse Alliance Ltd is a mission-driven organisation committed to improving the response to domestic abuse. We enable faster access to legal protections and empower victims through direct support and collaboration with frontline services and law enforcement.

We are now looking for a

proactive and adaptable Administrative & Support Coordinator

to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role and wants to make a real difference every day.

Role Overview

This is a dynamic, all-rounded position ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable wearing multiple hats. You'll provide essential support across administration, HR, IT, and frontline communications.

We are initially seeking someone to

volunteer with us for 8-12 weeks

, gaining valuable experience across HR, IT, and office administration. All reasonable expenses will be covered. For the right candidate, there may also be the opportunity to progress into a

paid role

, depending on experience and business capability. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Frontline Support



Respond to email enquiries from police officers and frontline service providers Manage incoming referrals and ensure timely communication with stakeholders

Administrative Support



Monitor and respond to shared team inboxes Maintain accurate records and update case management systems Provide diary management and scheduling support

HR Coordination



Support recruitment logistics, onboarding, and staff file management Maintain employee records and assist with internal communications

Training & Event Support



Schedule and coordinate training sessions and staff briefings Liaise with trainers, attendees, and external partners to ensure smooth delivery

IT & Systems Support



Assist with basic IT issues (e.g. login problems, new user setup) Liaise with IT support providers and escalate issues where necessary
Skills & Attributes

Strong written and verbal communication skills Compassionate, patient, and professional under pressure Highly organised with excellent multitasking skills Confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems (training provided for bespoke systems) A team player who can also work independently Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive and confidential information
