Are you a highly organised administrator with a passion for supporting inclusive education? We are seeking an
Administrative Support (SEND & Admissions)
to join our dedicated team. In this key role, you'll work closely with the SEND Practitioner and Admissions Coordinator to ensure the smooth and effective running of SEND services, admissions processes, and student transitions.
Key Responsibilities
As our new Admin Support, you will:
Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records for SEND and Admissions.
Prepare and manage documentation for EHCP reviews, care plans, admissions, and transition meetings.
Track key deadlines and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory timelines.
Support data entry and report generation for senior leaders and external agencies.
Coordinate and minute meetings, including EHCP reviews and admissions panels.
Liaise effectively with internal departments and external partners.
Assist in organising events such as open days, careers fairs, and transition visits.
Help ensure that all documentation meets Ofsted and local authority standards.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Understanding of GDPR and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Desirable:
Knowledge of SEND procedures, EHCPs, and school admissions
Experience in an education or SEND setting
Familiarity with MIS or case management systems
