Job Description

Job Purpose



To provide administrative and financial support services to Homeless Connect. The postholder will contribute to the effective delivery and development of office support services, as part of the Business Solutions team.

Key tasks and responsibilities

1. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, dealing with queries as required.

2. Support the finance department with administration and data entry duties

3. Credit control of outstanding invoices due to Homeless Connect.

4. Maintaining office supplies and information systems

5. Provide effective administrative support services to management in relation to meetings and organisational events.

6. Contribute to planning and development of office support functions.

General

1. Ensure that all health & safety and security procedures are followed by your staff team and people with lived experience while working with Homeless Connect.

2. Contribute to a positive, supportive, and effective team working environment and carry out duties in line with the organisation's policy on equality and diversity.

3. Actively participate in supervision, appraisals, work planning and training as required.

4. Adhere to all compliance and confidentially policies, ensuring all legislative requirements are met.

5. Undertake any other relevant duties as identified by the Chief Executive and/or Line Manager.

The duties of the post will be subject to review in accordance with the needs of the organisation.

Person Specification

Essential criteria

1. At least 5 GCSE passes or equivalent including Maths and English Language.

2. At least 2 years' experience of delivering effective administrative support services.

3. Evidence of strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

4. Experience of organising face-to-face and online meetings and events to include minute/note taking.

5. Available to work from home and from Homeless Connect office when required.

6. Experience of MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Desirable

1. Knowledge and understanding of homelessness issues.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,027.00 per year
