We have an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our highly successful Accountancy Practice in Borehamwood.



The role will involve providing administrative support to the Company Secretarial department, working closely with the wider team to ensure the smooth delivery of services to clients. Duties will include assisting with the maintenance of the Diligent database, supporting Companies House ID requirements, and carrying out general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying documentation.



The role will also involve assisting with telephone enquiries and liaising with clients to chase outstanding documentation. As regular client interaction is required, it is essential that you are confident communicating with people at all levels and demonstrate a confident, accurate, and professional approach at all times.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:



Provide administrative support to the Company Secretarial department


Assist with the maintenance and updating of the Diligent database


Support compliance with Companies House ID requirements


Carry out general administrative duties including filing, scanning, and photocopying documentation


Assist with the maintenance and updating of internal spreadsheets


Assist with handling telephone enquiries and responding to client queries


Liaise with clients to chase outstanding documentation in a professional manner


Assisting with the department's billing processes


New clients - Obtaining 'know your client' documents and liaising with admin team


Maintaining E-reminders and following clients on Companies House


Working closely with the wider team to ensure the smooth delivery of services to clients


Organising and schedule appointments.


Liaising with Senior and executive management to handle requests and queries.


Any other job-related tasks as directed by manager.

About you




We'll need you to have a keen eye for detail, teamed with the ability to spot any inaccuracies or duplications and provide resolutions. Efficiency and accuracy are key, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Additionally, the role requires the ability to network internally and externally, along with the ability to apply and expand your expertise.

This is an entry level role and would be ideal for someone who is looking to take the first step in their career or recent graduate. You'll be confident in communicating with more senior members of staff and not be afraid to ask questions to assist in your progression. You will also have/be:

Accurate keyboard skills, both written and numerical Competent using Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint Outstanding time management skills and ability to prioritise work Excellent work ethics and eagerness to learn Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people at different levels Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task Have an organised approach to your work and ideally have experience in working to strict deadlines Be comfortable in administering repetitive tasks on some occasions, although we will make every effort to vary your workload
