Snowdonia Fire Protection Ltd has been in operation since 1974 - initially specializing in the supply, installation and maintenance of Fire protection equipment, but with recent expansion into Security systems - including Intruder alarms, CCTV and Door Access systems.
We are a family-owned business based in Waunfawr, North Wales, and are currently looking for an administrator to join our team.
Applicants will ideally have experience in a commercial environment and possess the following:
Excellent IT skills - including MS Word, Excel & Outlook
Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Competence and accuracy with Data entry
Excellent telephone manner together with experience of dealing with customers over the telephone
Ability to pay attention to detail
Based in our Head Office in Waunfawr, near Caernarfon, the role will involve the following:
Overseeing our incoming e-mail system and replying to customers as required, logging any service or call-outs onto our database
liaising with other members of the team to ensure any calls our enquiries generated are allocated to engineers or other members of the team as required
Replying to customers in a professional manner
Providing service certification and invoices to clients on request, increasingly through use of electronic communications or client cloud-based systems
Answering the telephone in a professional manner and responding to client queries and requests, forwarding calls to other members of the team as appropriate
Assisting other members of the team as required

Please note that due to our rural location, transport is essential.
We are third-party accredited by NSI and NACOSS (Gold), BAFE, IFEDA, BAFSA, NICEIC and Investors in People, and due to the nature of our business, all successful candidates for roles with Snowdonia Fire & Security are required to undergo Security Screening with an external agency in compliance with BS7858.
Only short-listed candidates will be contacted, and those selected for interview may be required to undertake PC based exercises at interview to demonstrate their competence in MS Word and Excel.
