Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our friendly admin team. This post is to replace the retirement of a long standing team member and is a permanent position. Full training will be provided. You must be computer literate as all of our work involves using computers. You must be hard working and able to work in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi task. This is an admin role which includes, reception desk, processing prescriptions, answering calls, appointments, results and general enquiries, these are just some of the tasks you will be doing. Previous admin experience is essential.

We are a living wage employer. The role is ideally full-time, although we will consider part-time role(s) for right candidate(s). The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 6.00pm and you will work within these times. The hourly rate is 13.90 and will increase to 14.63 (28,528 p/a pro rata) after a 3 month probation period. You will receive 5 weeks annual leave plus 10 public holidays. If you work full-time (37.5 hours per week), you will have a half day off each week. We will also consider 4 full days - 34 hours per week.

We are located at Eastwood Health Centre in Clarkston G76 7HN, we also have a branch surgery at 30 Gilmour Street, Eaglesham G76 0AT, which you will work at on a rota basis. Both sites have free parking. A driving licence and car are essential to enable you to get to both sites.

The systems we use are EMIS, Docman and Microsoft Office.
