About Our Service
At Capability Scotland, our Dumfries & Galloway Services offer excellent community-based and day services that empower the people we support to live as independently as possible.
We proudly support adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and acquired brain injuries throughout the region. Our services also include guidance and access to Self-Directed Support through Community Brokerage.
We are currently expanding our administration team and have an exciting new position available at our busy Compass House service.

About the role
We're looking for a motivated and organised Administrator to join our team at Compass House. In this key role, you'll work closely with our management team to provide a comprehensive, efficient, and proactive administrative service.
This is more than just an admin job — you'll play a vital role in the smooth running of our amazing services. With a wide range of responsibilities, this position offers the opportunity to make a real impact in supporting the delivery of high-quality care and support across Dumfries & Galloway.

This rewarding opportunity, in one of our busiest services, has many responsibilities such as:
Updating service databases (MIS/I-Trent/CAMI) in line with Finance/HR timetables
Coordinating and administering procedures relating to Finance (including payroll, banking, expenses, billing, customer finances and petty cash)
Creating and inputting staff schedules, customer contracts and activity records
Assisting staff with payroll and absence queries
Assisting with the recruitment and selection process (generating offer letters, sending for references, right to work checks, Disclosure PVG checks & keeping candidates engaged throughout the recruitment process)
Circulating Capability Scotland's Policies & Procedures
General Administrative tasks (photocopying, scanning, maintaining records, meeting coordination and call handling)
Regular and meaningful interaction with our customers and their families
