Overview


First People Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Site Administrator.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in office-based computer systems, have an eye for detail, and possess problem-solving skills to contribute to our commitment to quality excellence. The company is a Independent, regional construction business with a strong reputation for delivering infrastructure projects throughout the UK. The company now operates as a modern, employee-owned business focused on civil engineering, building works, and specialist infrastructure delivery - turnover +100m

Responsibilities



1. Supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS) Assist in maintaining and updating the company's QMS documentation.

2 Data Entry and Documentation



Enter and update quality-related data into office-based systems (e.g., Excel, ERP software). Ensure that quality records are stored accurately and are easily accessible. Prepare reports related to quality metrics, non-conformances, and audits.

3. Quality Control and Assurance Support



Support routine quality checks and inspections of products/services, either physically or using digital tools. Identify discrepancies or defects in products or processes and assist in corrective action reporting.

5. Internal Audits and Reviews



Assist with internal audits of processes and products to ensure adherence to quality standards. Support in reviewing supplier quality performance and maintaining supplier documentation.

6. Training and Awareness



Help prepare training materials and deliver basic quality awareness training to employees. Ensure that employees are aware of quality standards and practices across the organization.

7. Collaboration with Other Departments



Work closely with various departments (e.g., production, purchasing, logistics) to ensure quality is maintained across all stages of the product lifecycle. Assist in cross-departmental communications and activities related to continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Track and manage quality audit schedules, documentation, and corrective actions.

Requirements



Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position. Proficient in using QuickBooks and Google Suite applications. Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, scanners, and fax machines is advantageous. Previous experience in clerical or data entry roles is preferred but not mandatory.

MUST

have Drivers License and Civil/construction experience.
