Job Purpose
The role will be to support analysts and configuration manager for the User & Security (U&S) team which supports access to the Epic system.
The Epic system supports in excess of 15,000 users which require appropriate & timely access. There is a high turnover of internal & external users which means we collaborate closely with Epic Training Team, IT Service Desk Team and HR workforce teams to ensure users are managed correctly on the system.
As admin support, the individual will be required to help organise the workload for the team using Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Excel & Teams. Furthermore, the individual will have access to the Epic Clinical system, IT service desk portal & the Learn Plus Training system to allow them to support with initial investigatory work for access.
Specific tasks include:
U&S email triage and allocation
Support with Microsoft Teams chats with the training department / IT Helpdesk
Service desk ticket triage and initial investigation
Maintaining ESR position mapping spreadsheet
Maintaining Non-RDUH access spreadsheet
Maintaining Agency pack spreadsheet and updating users when names are added.
Supporting with Doctor Rotation / Medical Student / Student Nurse onboarding spreadsheets.
Reducing duplicate providers on Epic
Preparatory work for induction list to ensure duplication of users / providers does not occur.
Taking minutes & actions from meetings.
Running daily reports: Training completion report / Users with no login for >54 weeks / Users with missing information
Supporting with audits for Information Governance compliance.
Updating Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) document when changes to roles are made
