Our brand?new care home, Honeysuckle House, is opening soon and we're looking for a passionate, reliable self motivated Administrator to help us create a community where every resident feels truly at home, safe and respected. If this sounds like you, we'd love you to be a part of our team.

Honeysuckle House is a brand-new, purpose-built 72-bed residential care home located within Red Kite Meadows, a state-of-the-art care village in Flitwick, Bedfordshire and developed in partnership with Central Bedfordshire Council.

You will be joining a supportive care team, led by hands-on management who will provide you with a comprehensive induction and ongoing training programme. Responsibilities of the Administrator include



To manage the care home reception area and receptionist/s, Welcoming visitors, and engineers ensuring they are supported and directed to their destination promptly coordinating post and deliveries to the correct recipients To provide administrative and clerical support to the management team, and in turn the frontline care services. You will be responsible for setting up meetings, including booking rooms/venues, preparing agendas, and co-ordinating the production and publishing of meeting papers, briefing meeting attendees to help prepare them for meetings, minute-taking, and follow up of actions. You will foster and maintain positive, proactive, and professional working relationships with our internal and external stakeholders including adult social work teams, housing partners, multi-disciplinary professionals, families, clients, and staff teams. Collecting, inputting, reviewing, collating and reporting on data. To demonstrate excellent IT skills including the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and proficient in the use in a range of software systems and databases. facilitating tours of the home.

Requirements



Previous experience working in an administrative/clerical/secretarial role.

Experience in managing diaries, organising meetings and taking detailed meeting minutes/transcripts.

Experience communicating with a range of individuals, roles and stakeholders within a previous role.

Ability to demonstrate initiative, organise oneself and prioritise workloads.

About the Hours, Pay & Conditions:



This is a full time (40 hours) and permanent position. The working hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis We offer a competitive rate of pay for this position of 13.80 per hour
