Administrator, Gastroenterology Department

We are looking for a driven individual to join a busy Gastroenterology service, which sits within the Unplanned Care Division. This post works closely with administrative and clinical colleagues, and so we are looking for someone who is a good team player. The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the team, including consultants, junior doctors and nurses. They will ensure all suitable patient information is captured, recorded accurately and submitted, in a timely way.
The post holder is responsible for providing a high standard of professionalism in a patient focused service, to support activities related to patient pathways and to participate in general office duties, including covering administrative/clerical work when staff are on leave. The post holder will need to be flexible, have a confident telephone manner along with good typing skills and organisational skills. Confidentiality within this post is of prime importance.

Main duties of the job

About us
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust's services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
