We are looking for an Internal Communications Administrator to work within the Communications Directorate in our Internal Communications team.
The successful candidate will be required to provide professional administrative support to the Internal Communications team and wider Communications & Engagement business area, coordinating communications projects and activities.
To do this, you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
Planning and organising meetings/live events including preparing papers, arranging any digital resources, and dealing with any follow up actions
Writing, editing, and publishing internal updates, to raise visibility, awareness, and engagement of all business activities
Maintaining and developing new content for the in-house intranet by liaising with internal customers, ensuring content is in line with brand and house style guidelines and published in a timely manner
Building and maintaining effective relationships with peers, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer service
Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Excellent planning and organisational skills, in particular diary management and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
Working with accuracy and attention to detail
Be able to operate SQA IT systems (eg Office 365 and SharePoint)
Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 6 (SVQ3/Higher) with relevant qualifications or be able to demonstrate significant communications and administrative experience. Also, role model the behaviours associated with SQA's values (Trusted, Progressive and Enabling) in order to develop and sustain a productive and positive culture.
