We are committed to maintaining the highest standards in everything we do - from the precision of our workmanship to the professionalism of our people. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated Administrator to support the smooth and efficient running of our operations.
In this key role, you will provide accurate and proactive administrative support across departments, helping to ensure our projects and office functions operate seamlessly. Acting as a central point of coordination, you will represent John McGeady Ltd with professionalism, attention to detail, and a positive, solutions-focused attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer incoming calls and greet visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Arrange and coordinate meetings, including booking rooms and preparing required resources
Take and distribute meeting notes
Input and maintain accurate data in spreadsheets and company systems
Support the Buying Department by raising and placing orders
Assist the Accounts Department with filing and numbering invoices and tickets
Scan, copy, and laminate documents as required
Perform general administrative tasks to support the wider team
This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and additional tasks may be required as part of the role. Full training will be provided where necessary.
About You
Confident communicator with a polite and professional telephone manner
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Able to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferably within the Construction industry
Working Hours:
35 hours per week across Monday to Friday with optional shift pattern of either;
08:00 - 15:00 PM
09:00 AM - 16:00 PM
10:00 AM - 17:00 PM
