Our administrators at Jackson Drilling provide essential administrative support to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the business. This role is responsible for handling day to day administration tasks, maintaining accurate records, supporting internal processes, and assisting colleagues across the business with a variety of operational duties. You will act as a central point of contact for internal and external people and clients alike, contributing to a professional and well organised working environment.
Responsibilities
Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
Update and maintain existing database(s)
Schedule engineer works, appointments, and bookings to support the operational teams
Support the administrative needs of the team and the company as a whole
Assist with data collection, for analytical and reporting purposes
Assisting with updates on compliance and document control.
Processing of data and customer information onto CRM database
Act as a point of contact of contact for clients and suppliers alike
Provide excellent customer service and handle enquiries effectively
Liaise with all departments to ensure smooth information flow
Assist with the coordination of travel arrangements, logistics and hotel bookings
Support procurement activities, including raising purchase order numbers, processing invoices and monitoring stock levels
Follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements
Support the maintenance of quality management systems and audit readiness
Ensure all administrative processes meet internal standards
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Understanding of databases and report functions
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask and work independently.
Knowledge of health and safety, as well as quality management processes
Flexible and adaptable, with the willingness to support the wider business
