The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team supporting the Greater Manchester Public Health Leadership Network. The role is employed and hosted by Tameside MBC but will work day to day with the Population Health team in NHS Greater Manchester and across the ten Directors of Public Health in Greater Manchester, as well as wider partners.
The Administrator for the Greater Manchester Public Health Leadership Network will support across a broad range of work areas to support the Public Health Leadership Network.
Some of the key tasks for this role will be supporting meetings, including taking minutes, as well as ensuring actions are recorded and followed up. The role will support and work as part of the Greater Manchester Public Health Leadership Network team, but also support wider partners across the network.
It will also be important for this role to be flexible and responsive to the needs of the team and partners, supporting a wide range of topics and forums.
This is a fixed term role for 12 months initially but there may be scope for this to be extended.
About You
We are seeking a person for this role with experience of providing administrative support, with good communication skills and an ability to deal with a wide range of individuals. You will need to have attention to detail, good organisational skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and be able to prioritise work in a busy environment and meet deadlines.
This will also be a great role for anyone with experience of working in Public Health or the wider local authority, health & social care environment.
