Job Title: Administrator - Outpatient appointment recovery booker



Location: KAO Park, London Rd, Harlow CM17 9NA



Hours: Full time, 37,5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 16:00



Pay and duration: 12.21 per hour, this placement will be needed up to February 2026



We're looking for a highly motivated and organised Outpatient Appointment Recovery Booker to join our team as part of a crucial service recovery initiative. Based at our Harlow site, this is a fast-paced, dynamic role where you'll play an important part in supporting patients and services across a range of specialties.

What you'll be responsible for:



Carry out bespoke booking processes tailored to different clinical divisions.

Ensure data quality by reviewing and clearing lists for designated specialties.

Liaise with operational service leads and other departments as needed.

Communicate confidently with patients over the phone.

Take initiative and ownership of your workload and ongoing learning.

Support the wider team with additional tasks as directed by the service manager.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:



1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:



Quick to learn new systems and processes.

Able to work independently and use your initiative.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritise effectively.

Confident communicator, especially over the phone.

Reliable and ready to start

This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
