Job Description

As Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of our business. Working closely with installers and the leadership team, you'll be responsible for overseeing administrative functions, streamlining processes, and supporting project delivery from a back-office perspective. You'll also be a first point of contact with customers, answering phone calls and responding to emails on a daily basis.

We're now seeking an Administrator to join our close and friendly office team.

What you will be doing



The successful candidate must be able to provide a high level of customer satisfaction and carry out administration tasks effectively and accurately as follows:

To be a first point of contact for customers, installers and suppliers, answering telephone calls and emails in an efficient and approachable manner.

To carry out office administration tasks, logging information onto our bespoke CRM / database to ensure efficient workflow. Tracking ongoing jobs in the same way.

To maintain project documentation, scheduling, and compliance records

To identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency

To log and schedule work in conjunction with the Management Team to ensure effective planning

To take information from installers reports to create quotes/invoices to send to customers

To carry out any reasonable task request by Operations Manager

Your Skills and experiences Required



Administrative experience of at least 1 Year

Outstanding customer care skills and a professional approach, with a strong desire to ensure the customer journey with us is a smooth process.

A great listener and communicator, someone prepared to use new technology to make sure the documents they produce are spelt correctly and are grammatically accurate.

Confident and proficient in the main Microsoft Office elements; Word, Excel and Outlook particularly.

Someone able to work in a small team and who can prioritise their work according to deadlines.

Interest in the renewable energy sector, particularly solar pv.

Willingness to learn and to undertake training to improve knowledge of the products we us. This could be in-house or external.

Your Skills and experiences Desirable



ideally you will have industry experience in a similar role, e.g. producing MCS certificates and dealing with G99 applications, but this is not essential.

experience with some of the other software we use AuotCAD, Adobe Acrobat, full tuition will be given if no experience.
