We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at HMP Leeds a category B male prison located in Leeds.



This is a fantastic new opportunity to join the healthcare team on site, ensuring that patients receive the best quality care, and the healthcare team are fully supported. We offer free parking onsite, and have excellent transport links - there is a bus stop at the end of the road connecting us to Leeds city centre and Bradford, and the train station is 10 minutes away.

HMP Leeds is a busy remand prison, so we have a high turnover of inmates, which makes for a fast paced, challenging,. but exciting environment! You will have interaction with prisoners so you will have a lot of variety in this role!

Hours:



This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.

Salary:



This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 27,582 - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing




As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Dealing with patients, healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email, delivering a high level service at all times Work on the wings one day per week (2 x 30 minute slots), acting as the admin contact for prisoners and helping them with any admin related questions or issues Provide a high quality admin service to the healthcare team Coordinate clinics and chase referrals (internal and external) Arrange and chase hospital appointments, prisoner release and transfers, and arrange appointments for follow on care

Our new Administrator will have:




Experience within an administrative role / setting - any experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage (GP surgery, hospital etc) Experience of using SystmOne (desirable) Confident in using data, maintaining databases and producing reports
