We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the team at HMP Garth, a Category B male prison in Leyland.
The prison houses around 1500 men with a variety of health needs and within this role, you'll play an integral part in providing exceptional care for our patients.
This is a fantastic opportunity support the physical health (primary care) team onsite, being the first point of contact for the team!
You will have lots of face to face patient contact, providing a fast paced, rewarding and ever changing role.
Hours:
This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00.
Salary:
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary of 25,821 - 28,574 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As our new Administrator, your responsibilities will include: Provide excellent admin support to the Physical Health team onsite, acting as the first point of contact
Work face to face with patients on the reception desk in the healthcare department on a rota basis
Work on the healthcare system (SystmOne) - inputting patient information and referrals, ensuring records are accurate, as well as running reports
Attend Single Point of Access Meetings, taking away actions including referrals
Work with data provided by the team manager - investigating anomalies and produce reports
Dealing with healthcare colleagues and other professionals over the phone, face to face and via email, delivering a high level service at all times
Attend meetings and take minutes as necessary

Experience within an administrative role - any experience in a healthcare environment would be an advantage, such as a hospital or GP surgery
Any experience of using SystmOne would be a bonus!
Minute taking experience would be beneficial

Good IT skills, including MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word etc)
