Plant Administrator



Company Overview



FKL Plant is part of the Lagan Specialist Contracting Group, a 200m turnover business, providing specialist contracting services across the globe. From bespoke civil engineering and M&E projects to plant hire and complex airport projects.

FKL Plant provide specialist plant and equipment for hire, including mobile concrete and asphalt batching plants, piling rigs.

Role Overview



The Plant Administrator plays a vital part in the smooth day to day operation and success of the business. We are looking for a well organised and driven person, who can provide an efficient and professional service within a busy office environment.

Some of your main duties will include:

Reception and Administration

The first point of contact for visitors, greeting them upon arrival to the office, assisting them with signing in and directing them to where they need to go. General office duties and administration support to the FKL Plant team, including, mail distribution, handling phone and email queries, minute taking, arranging hospitality, filing and scanning documents Making arrangements for flights, hotels and hire cars, seeking the best deal and locality for travel Assisting with weekly payroll, including compiling information, reviewing time sheets and liaising with finance, HR and payroll teams for accurate and timely completion Assisting with invoicing of plant items and vehicles for both internal and external clients, ensuring invoicing is completed
Systems Champion

Be a champion of our document and business management systems, liaising with IT and Systems Management team members for support Implementing computerised systems, ensuring accurate records are held, and training or advising others, ensuring consistency across the Plant department
Compliance and Monitoring

Record and monitor data such as Plant and vehicle service history and mileage, to ensure compliance with regulations Assisting with the compilation of safety documents in conjunction with other team and group company members, collating the documents and filing appropriately Management of Excel spreadsheets and systems for internal and external hire and asset management, ensuring these remain updated and accurate

What you'll bring



As a Plant Administrator, it is essential to have;

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade C or above Minimum 2 years' administrative experience Strong IT competency, and experience with systems and MS Office packages (excel, word etc) Effective Communication Skills, both written and verbal, with people at all levels
